After having played for 8 minutes, Ernani de Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Egon AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernani de Alcântara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulão Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesinha Sampaio in the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of Egon AD booed when φβaΤaΤasφ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Décio Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilson Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Paulão Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 played minutes φβaΤaΤasφ got a freekick which was hit by Vitório Nascimento. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesinha Sampaio in the 18th minute of play forced φβaΤaΤasφ's goalkeeper Paulão Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 played minutes Egon AD got a freekick which was hit by Armando Lopez. The supporters of Egon AD booed when φβaΤaΤasφ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dagoberto Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute of the match Pedro Luís Passos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulão Rezende showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Wilson Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. João Pedro Madureira made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Armandinho Dante sent off a good shot on target. Paulão Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernani de Alcântara in the 33rd minute of the match. Ernani de Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Paulão Rezende didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Egon AD. 40 minutes into the match, Egon AD's goalkeeper João Pedro Madureira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armandinho Dante. Cesinha Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulão Rezende having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Régis de Sousa to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, φβaΤaΤasφ's Armandinho Dante sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Pedro Madureira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Egon AD booed when φβaΤaΤasφ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dagoberto Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Ernani de Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cesinha Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulão Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Pedro Madureira came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by φβaΤaΤasφ's Armandinho Dante. But to his dismay, Armandinho Dante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 79th minute, Egon AD got a penalty, and Pedro Luís Passos placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. João Pedro Madureira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armandinho Dante's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute, one of φβaΤaΤasφ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for φβaΤaΤasφ. When the match had been going on for 89 minutes, Egon AD's Pedro Luís Passos got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Paulão Rezende. 99 minutes into the game, Wilson Seco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Egon AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave φβaΤaΤasφ the free kick. After a rather tough play, Egon AD's Wilson Seco got a free kick in the 99th minute. Régis de Sousa struck a weak shot in the 100th minute. João Pedro Madureira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for φβaΤaΤasφ. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Egon AD eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
