After a defensive mix-up in SC Perebas's zone, Almir Guimarães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elivélton Sabóia came out of the goal and Almir Guimarães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felipe de Sena was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Vitorina SC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Almir Guimarães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Elivélton Sabóia made a huge save. 31 minutes into the match, SC Perebas's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe de Sena came free, but Elivélton Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kléberson Nettos short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Samuca Marquez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 54 minutes, Dráuzio Vieira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vitorina SC and the SC Perebas players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vitorina SC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Dráuzio Vieira hit a great ball. SC Perebas's Ronaldinho Sarmento couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vitorina SC. Vitorina SC's Samuca Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tião Carvalho in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute Felipe de Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SC Perebas's zone, Almir Guimarães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elivélton Sabóia came out of the goal and Almir Guimarães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee ignored Vitorina SC's protests and gave Almir Guimarães a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe de Sena in the 91st minute of play forced SC Perebas's goalkeeper Elivélton Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kléberson Netto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuca Marquez having to make a save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
