Tiaguinho Maranhense, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cléberson Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nico Arantes made a kick off. If Gonçalo Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonçalo Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cícero de Castro having to interfere. Igor Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Ione's Noel Barros got control of the ball when Nico Arantes tried to sneak it across the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonçalo Reis couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the match, Ione's goalkeeper Noel Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nico Arantes. When Abelardo Cordeiro came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Ione fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Cordeiro couldn't finish the play. Gonçalo Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cícero de Castro having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, patamar01 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiaguinho Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to patamar01 getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Cléberson Severo hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Pedrinho Silveira sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and patamar01's Cícero de Castro didn't even have to move. In the 92ndth minute of the game Gonçalo Reis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but patamar01's Cícero de Castro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gonçalo Reis succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Nico Arantes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 100th minute. patamar01's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ione fully deserved thier win.
