In the 3rd minute, Sabino Rocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alegres SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Leão in the 8th minute of play forced Bandara's goalkeeper Geraldo Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Bittencourt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márcio Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Sabino Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Alegres SC's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Campidelis came free, but Carlos Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sabino Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sabino Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Geraldo Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Alegres SC's Giuseppe Barreto got a free kick in the 30th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Bandara's Doni Saraiva tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Geraldo Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Sabino Rocha was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 46th minute. Alegres SC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Alan Campidelis might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Bittencourt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alan Campidelis ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Sabino Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Bandara's goal looked a bit too open when Sabino Rocha came free, but Geraldo Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Alegres SC booed when Bandara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anísio Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Sabino Rocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geraldo Braga. Bandara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sabino Rocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Bandara's Geraldo Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Leão in the 77th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Sabino Rocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geraldo Braga. Bandara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sabino Rocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Geraldo Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabino Rocha in the 83rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bandara's Fred de Carvalho got a free kick in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Leão in the 85th minute of play forced Bandara's goalkeeper Geraldo Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 played minutes Alegres SC got a freekick which was hit by Giuseppe Barreto. Bandara were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Alegres SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Doni Saraiva took the corner.
