The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vitório Garcia during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A hard shot by Edvaldo Carvalho from long distance, 10 minutes into the match, got Sílvio Luís Abreu's attention. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Tadeu's Marcelo Esteves suffered a sore thigh after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 96th match minute, Colinas SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaltino de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Sílvio Luís Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Terra in the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Colinas SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tadeu.
