When João Carlos Trigo came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Samambaial SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Carlos Trigo couldn't finish the play. FlaNatal I9club's Luan Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Carlos Trigo in the 10th minute of play. After 12 played minutes João Carlos Trigo rounded FlaNatal I9club's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. With a little luck, FlaNatal I9club's Luan Saraiva got control of the ball when Ernani Dias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Samambaial SS's Raimundo Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válbson de Souza in the 22nd minute of play. Luan Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Carlos Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th match minute, FlaNatal I9club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Loyola to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Alfredão Guimarães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedrinho Guedes kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The FlaNatal I9club fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when FlaNatal I9club's Alfredão Guimarães looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Válbson de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Samambaial SS's Tomé Silveira got a free kick in the 45th minute. After 46 minutes of play, FlaNatal I9club's Alfredão Guimarães made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raimundo Andrade was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half FlaNatal I9club were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Samambaial SS's Raimundo Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredão Guimarães in the 53rd minute of play. Samambaial SS's Ernani Dias got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Pedrinho Guedes fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samambaial SS's protests and gave Pedrinho Guedes a yellow card for diving instead. Pedrinho Guedes hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredão Guimarães in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raimundo Andrade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 64th match minute, FlaNatal I9club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Loyola to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernani Dias in the 66th minute of play forced FlaNatal I9club's goalkeeper Luan Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FlaNatal I9club's Luan Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Carlos Trigo in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, João Carlos Trigo notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of FlaNatal I9club's Luan Saraiva. Luan Saraiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Iuri Donato fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samambaial SS's protests and gave Iuri Donato a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Samambaial SS's Iuri Donato got a free kick in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Carlos Trigo in the 94th minute of play forced FlaNatal I9club's goalkeeper Luan Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Samambaial SS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FlaNatal I9club's performance. The match ended with a win for FlaNatal I9club.
