Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cesinha Peres started the match with the kick off. Jeronimo Guipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 5th match minute, Icacu SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Saldanha to maneuver through the defense. Jeronimo Guipuzkoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Sanches in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Cesinha Peres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cesinha Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Vito Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 23 minutes, Cesinha Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Icacu SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesinha Peres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vito Arósio made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Cesinha Peres sent off a good shot on target. If Cesinha Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Silva Matador Futebol getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Giovanni de Almeida hit a great ball. Jeronimo Guipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Denílson Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Guipuzkoa having to interfere. Jeronimo Guipuzkoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Sanches in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Marques was the one to do the kick off. When Edmundo Marques came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Silva Matador Futebol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Marques couldn't finish the play. Denílson Sanches charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Denílson Sanches the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Silva Matador Futebol's Denílson Sanches got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Vito Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesinha Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. With a little luck, Icacu SC's Jeronimo Guipuzkoa got control of the ball when Denílson Sanches tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Icacu SC's Celso Massa got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, Icacu SC's Giuseppe Cruz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vito Arósio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rubens Bezerra hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the game, Cesinha Peres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Vito Arósio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience held their breath when Cesinha Peres in the 89th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Vito Arósio's left hand side. Lino Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vito Arósio having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Silva Matador Futebol's zone, Lino Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vito Arósio came out of the goal and Lino Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Icacu SC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Silva Matador Futebol for a fine match.
