Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cesinha Peres started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Novaes's goalkeeper Remo Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 5th minute, Manfredo Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dadá Novaes tried in the 11th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Remo Cunha a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. Jeronimo Guipuzkoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Leonardo Rezende got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinho Saldanha during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Claudinho Saldanha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Novaes's Guilherme Brito got a free kick in the 34th minute.

In the 51st minute, Manfredo Arantes had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Beto Berger during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Icacu SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto Berger to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the game, Icacu SC's Cesinha Peres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remo Cunha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Cesinha Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 played minutes Icacu SC got a freekick which was hit by Giuseppe Cruz. A collision led to Novaes getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Guilherme Brito hit a great ball. Jeronimo Guipuzkoa came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Novaes's Leonardo Rezende. But to his dismay, Leonardo Rezende quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Despite being the better team, Novaes failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
