Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fausto Palmeira took the kick off in the first half of the match. Água Santa's Cafu Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tostão Sena in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tostão Sena in the 7th minute of play forced Água Santa's goalkeeper Cafu Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Água Santa booed when CORINTHIANS1910 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fábio Brasil didn't get a good kick on the ball. CORINTHIANS1910's Ronaldo Souto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save CORINTHIANS1910 from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute, Matías Paes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Joélson Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronaldo Souto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matías Paes in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cafu Amaral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matías Paes took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cafu Amaral. Cafu Amaral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Matías Paes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cafu Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Fausto Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Água Santa's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Palmeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronaldo Souto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cafu Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Paes, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matías Paes to make the kick off. Cafu Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tostão Sena in the 56th minute. José Sergipano kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 64th minute Fausto Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute Água Santa were awarded a corner. Luiz Fábio Faria went to the cornerflag to take it. Luiz Fábio Faria made a great header on Água Santa's corner, it was just that CORINTHIANS1910's Ronaldo Souto managed to reach the ball for a save. Tostão Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Cafu Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Palmeira scored 1-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronaldo Souto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Matías Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Matías Paes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cafu Amaral was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Kléberson Silveira's late challenge caught a CORINTHIANS1910's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kléberson Silveira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Kléberson Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Matías Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matías Paes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Fausto Palmeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ronaldo Souto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
