With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdo Brito in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vivaldo Luz saved Faxinal from getting behind. Horácio Souto took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vivaldo Luz. Vivaldo Luz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Faxinal's Vivaldo Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdo Brito in the 9th minute of play. When Atlético Acre's Rafa de Moraes in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Faxinal's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Faxinal's Vivaldo Luz got control of the ball when Horácio Souto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rubens Mazza was the one to do the kick off. After 55 played minutes, Atlético Acre's Jano da Silva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vivaldo Luz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético Acre reached it. 57 minutes into the match, Valdo Brito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vivaldo Luz. Faxinal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdo Brito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. A collision led to Atlético Acre getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Silvinho Baiano hit a great ball. Valdo Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Atlético Acre had won after a very even match.
