Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Simão Leal took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th match minute, Tapuias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Vítor Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Estrela de Davi's Baltazar Fonseca tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Simão Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Wellington Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the game, Tadeu Arósio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estrela de Davi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tapuias the free kick. The supporters of Tapuias booed when Estrela de Davi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeu Arósio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Augusto Maciel scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafael Maia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Simão Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tapuias's supporters rose to their feet, but Simão Leal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wellington Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Simão Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Augusto Maciel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 minutes, Haroldo Damião mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estrela de Davi and the Tapuias players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Estrela de Davi getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Haroldo Damião hit a great ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simão Leal couldn't finish the play. Simão Leal succeeded in the game's 41st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dedé Martins made a kick off. Simão Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 minutes, Simão Leal made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Estrela de Davi's Wellington Monteiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wellington Monteiro came out of the goal and Paulão Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafael Maia made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Zé Augusto Maciel sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Simão Leal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wellington Monteiro was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. In the 79th minute, Zé Augusto Maciel made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Maia. Tapuias's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. After some careless play in the Tapuias defense, Zé Augusto Maciel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Maia. The Tapuias fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Maia should have stopped the shot. Although Tapuias had been in control for most of the match, Estrela de Davi still came away with the win.
