Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aleandro Silva got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Aleandro Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 5th minute, Itaguira SC's Aleandro Silva ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedrinho Bittencourt. Pedrinho Bittencourt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 31st minute of the match Daniel Andrade shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cícero Gonçalves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 35 played minutes Espinilho SS got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Massa. With a little luck, Espinilho SS's Pedrinho Bittencourt got control of the ball when Felipe Cerezo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felipe Cerezo took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedrinho Bittencourt. Pedrinho Bittencourt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Aleandro Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedrinho Bittencourt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugênio Breckenfeld stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Felipe Cerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aleandro Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Itaguira SC's Felipe Cerezo fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Armandinho Mendonça's late challenge caught a Itaguira SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armandinho Mendonça helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Armandinho Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedrinho Bittencourt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleandro Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 63rdth minute of the game Aleandro Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espinilho SS's Pedrinho Bittencourt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ricardo Massa fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espinilho SS's protests and gave Ricardo Massa a yellow card for diving instead. Ricardo Massa hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. João Prado hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Enio Bezerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Espinilho SS's Pedrinho Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Cerezo in the 73rd minute of play. Aleandro Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedrinho Bittencourt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. After 83 played minutes Itaguira SC got a freekick which was hit by Nelsinho de Amaral. Aleandro Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleandro Silva in the 95th minute of play forced Espinilho SS's goalkeeper Pedrinho Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Itaguira SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
