Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alfredo Souza took the kick off in the first half of the match. Maurinho Andrade's late challenge caught a Sanville F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maurinho Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th match minute, Catita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurinho Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Gabriel Seco might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dinei Loureiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiago Gabriel Seco ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th match minute, Catita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurinho Andrade to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Catita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Custódio de Medeiros came free, but José Paulo Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Catita FC's Alfredo Souza got a free kick in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Sanville F.C.'s Custódio de Medeiros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Paulo Lima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute of the match Arlindo Seco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Paulo Lima showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orlando Vander during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tiago Gabriel Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Custódio de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Paulo Lima having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Murillo Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sanville F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Murillo Paraibano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lenílson Neiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Custódio de Medeiros to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Sanville F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Gabriel Seco came free, but Dinei Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Paulo Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Custódio de Medeiros in the 54th minute of play. If Murillo Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Custódio de Medeiross short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got José Paulo Lima to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the last second José Paulo Lima throw himself and got hold of the ball when Custódio de Medeiros in the 63rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The supporters of Sanville F.C. booed when Catita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Paulo Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Custódio de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sanville F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Custódio de Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Custódio de Medeiros charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Custódio de Medeiros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Custódio de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Orlando Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinei Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Custódio de Medeiross short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got José Paulo Lima to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Murillo Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Custódio de Medeiros in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of José Paulo Lima, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Murillo Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Custódio de Medeiros in the 91st minute of play forced Catita FC's goalkeeper José Paulo Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute of the match Afonsinho Saraiva sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Paulo Lima skillfully saved the ball. Custódio de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Paulo Lima having to interfere. When the match was over Sanville F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Catita FC throughout the match.
