Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Guveia's Dino de Mendonça got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Luisão Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerônimo de Toledo in the 8th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Aarão Zwinglio:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Guveia:s goal. When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, Guveia's Murilo Hermes got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Luisão Toscano. Ulisses Gaúcho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute, Osmar Baptista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Osmar Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Mota having to interfere. In the 32ndth minute of the game Jerônimo de Toledo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aarão Zwinglio's Luisão Toscano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Guveia booed when Aarão Zwinglio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Rezende didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osmar Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Mota having to interfere. Dino de Mendonça hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Luisão Toscano made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Clemente Eger sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerônimo de Toledo was the one to do the kick off. When Vito Pires fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aarão Zwinglio's protests and gave Vito Pires a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. Luisão Toscano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Eurico Fontes hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Ulisses Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Dagoberto Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giovanni Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Aarão Zwinglio's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Eger came free, but Luisão Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerônimo de Toledo in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisão Toscano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dagoberto Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osmar Baptista in the 95th minute of the match. Ulisses Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Mota having to interfere. After 98 played minutes Guveia got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Mangueira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osmar Baptista in the 99th minute of play forced Guveia's goalkeeper Dagoberto Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Guveia had won after a very even match.
