Armando Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlinhos Vianna having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred de Brito in the 20th minute of play forced Boca De Fumo's goalkeeper Carlinhos Vianna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Carlinhos Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alfredão Sá fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca De Fumo's protests and gave Alfredão Sá a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Alfredão Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlinhos Vianna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Betinho Pombal's late challenge caught a Ibicuipeba EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Betinho Pombal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd match minute, Boca De Fumo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betinho Pombal to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred de Brito in the 35th minute of play forced Boca De Fumo's goalkeeper Carlinhos Vianna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 played minutes Boca De Fumo got a freekick which was hit by Betinho Pombal. Armando Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlinhos Vianna having to interfere. Alex Mumbach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Vianna in the 72nd minute of the match. Ulysses Pirani kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. If Armando Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Lucas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 84th minute. Ibicuipeba EC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 85 minutes, Fred de Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibicuipeba EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fred de Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fred de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Ibicuipeba EC's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Vianna came free, but Alex Mumbach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Armando Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibicuipeba EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Lucas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Many of Ibicuipeba EC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ibicuipeba EC may have spent more time on the ball, but Boca De Fumo were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
