JURUPIRENCE FC's Cláudio Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Terra in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Douradao SC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Vicente Terra hit a great ball. Almir Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes JURUPIRENCE FC got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Félix. With his leg Cláudio Medeiros managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Douradao SC's Acácio Fernandes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 23 minutes, Acácio Fernandes made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. JURUPIRENCE FC's Cláudio Medeiros tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Douradao SC's Christian Moreno got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Acácio Fernandes got free with Cláudio Medeiros in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucas Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Medeiros having to interfere. Cláudio Medeiros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Acácio Fernandes in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Chiquinho Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute of the match Christian Moreno sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cláudio Medeiros skillfully saved the ball. If Acácio Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bebeto de Andrade made a kick off. Cláudio Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acácio Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. When Bebeto de Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the JURUPIRENCE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bebeto de Andrade couldn't finish the play. Cláudio Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Amauri Montenegro hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Douradao SC's Christian Moreno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cláudio Medeiros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cláudio Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acácio Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
