Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marco Netto took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Mário de Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zézinho Leme hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Geovânio Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Netto in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Lima in the 15th minute of play forced Suspiro's goalkeeper Elivélton Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Mirandela EC booed when Suspiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrício Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Mirandela EC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruninho Maciel came free, but Geovânio Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 played minutes Suspiro got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício Rodrigues. Elivélton Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlinhos de Alcântara in the 29th minute of play. After some careless play in the Mirandela EC defense, Bruninho Maciel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geovânio Gaúcho. The Mirandela EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovânio Gaúcho should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Mirandela EC's goalkeeper Geovânio Gaúcho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruninho Maciel. Geovânio Gaúcho was a little too slow when Marco Netto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-0. Eliseu Duarte scored 2-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elivélton Simão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlinhos de Alcântara to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Marco Netto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geovânio Gaúcho. Mirandela EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Netto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After having played for 61 minutes, Bruninho Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Suspiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruninho Maciel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute, Bruninho Maciel made a precise shot to the right of Geovânio Gaúcho. Mirandela EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. If Bruninho Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovânio Gaúcho didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Suspiro's Marco Netto shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-1 in the ordered_time% minute. When Bruninho Maciel came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Suspiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruninho Maciel couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Suspiro getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Zé Paulo Barbosa hit a great ball. When Suspiro's Marco Netto in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mirandela EC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Suspiro getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Zézinho Leme hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Suspiro had won after a very even match.
