David Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Couto having to interfere. Inácio Couto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hortêncio Ferreira's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Falcão Sabóia's late challenge caught a Castelandia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Falcão Sabóia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, Falcão Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Estefania's goal looked a bit too open when David Freitas came free, but Inácio Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Estefania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaltino Koehler to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Freitas in the 23rd minute of play forced Estefania's goalkeeper Inácio Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, David Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castelandia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Renatinho Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inácio Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If David Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 played minutes Estefania got a freekick which was hit by Isaltino Koehler. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

David Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Estefania booed when Castelandia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eurico Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Álvaro Ferreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dário Félix's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Dário Félix might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Álvaro Ferreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dário Félix ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 70th minute Renatinho Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If David Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Hortêncio Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Castelandia FC's David Freitas in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 86 played minutes Matheus Andrade scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Inácio Couto who was too lazy, 0-1. Thanks to some nice moves Hortêncio Ferreira could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Inácio Couto however easily saved by the left post. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Estefania's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Matheus Andrade was slow to take the kick. During this time Castelandia FC's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Castelandia FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. David Freitas hit a great ball. Castelandia FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
