David Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Medeiros having to interfere. If Geovânio Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovânio Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Enjeitado EC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luizão Pimenta fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gilvan Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Gilvan Medeiros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conrado Secco. Enjeitado EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilvan Medeiros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Hugo Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovânio Mendonça in the 43rd minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilvan Medeiros to make the kick off. Geovânio Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Medeiros having to interfere. Hugo Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovânio Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The Enjeitado EC fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Enjeitado EC's David Braga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cauã Cabral's late challenge caught a Sarandy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cauã Cabral helped the player get up and apologised. Cauã Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The supporters of Enjeitado EC booed when Sarandy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Paraense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enjeitado EC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
