The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sapuparo. In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Ouro AD. Iuri Vides stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Oséias Zilles. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Andrade in the 8th minute of play forced Sapuparo's goalkeeper Oséias Zilles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 minutes, Evaristo Senna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sapuparo and the Ouro AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sapuparo's Evaristo Senna got a free kick in the 9th minute. Alexandre Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oséias Zilles having to interfere. Oséias Zilles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. If Claudinei Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oséias Zilles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Sapuparo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ouro AD:s goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sapuparo's zone, Alexandre Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oséias Zilles came out of the goal and Alexandre Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 34 played minutes Sapuparo got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Prestes. 35 minutes into the match, Alexandre Andrade notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sapuparo's Oséias Zilles. Oséias Zilles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Claudinei Almeida struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Oséias Zilles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ouro AD. After a defensive mix-up in Sapuparo's zone, Alexandre Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oséias Zilles came out of the goal and Alexandre Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
Ouro AD's Claudinei Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oséias Zilles made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Alexandre Andrade sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th minute of the match, Alexandre Andrade got a very nice opportunity to score, but Oséias Zilles was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Alexandre Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinei Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oséias Zilles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Almeida in the 64th minute of play. Oséias Zilles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sapuparo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sapuparo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudinei Almeida was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Claudinei Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Valdemar Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Henrique Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Ouro AD could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sapuparo throughout the match.
