Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Tapiramuta's Benedito Schmidt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carlos Eduardo Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Donato Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Eduardo Braga in the 14th minute of the match. Donato Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilvan Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 28 minutes, Gilvan Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Platinense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilvan Bezerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tapiramuta's Donato Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eduardo Braga in the 32nd minute of play. Platinense's Paulão Baiano couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 38th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tapiramuta. Gilvan Bezerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donato Leme came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Platinense's Gilvan Bezerra. But to his dismay, Gilvan Bezerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 46 minutes, Carlos Eduardo Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Platinense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Eduardo Braga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Eduardo Braga to strike the kick off in the second half. Donato Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Braga in the 56th minute of play. Carlos Eduardo Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Donato Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Carlos Eduardo Braga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Donato Leme. Carlos Eduardo Braga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Donato Leme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilvan Bezerra in the 68th minute. 0-3 became the score in the 72nd minute when Carlos Eduardo Braga elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Carlos Eduardo Braga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donato Leme was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Carlos Eduardo Braga struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Donato Leme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Platinense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Eduardo Braga in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donato Leme saved Tapiramuta from getting behind. Carlos Eduardo Braga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donato Leme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Platinense played a much better game than Tapiramuta and deserved their victory. The Tapiramuta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
