Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alex Quadros started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Guto Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guto Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jorge de Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Frédson Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itanhomy's supporters rose to their feet, but Frédson Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denílson Pimenta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 15 minutes of play, Quarahy's Alex Quadros made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge de Salles was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Alex Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 21 minutes into the game, Fernando Pires lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Jorge de Salles. If Alex Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Itanhomy defense, Alex Quadros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge de Salles. The Itanhomy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge de Salles should have stopped the shot. Fernando Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Quarahy's Alex Quadros ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jorge de Salles. Jorge de Salles yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Alex Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Quadros struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Jorge de Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quarahy. 44 minutes into the match, Quarahy's Alex Quadros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge de Salles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fernando Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jorge de Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Frédson Garcia hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Jorge de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Quadros in the 55th minute of play. After 58 played minutes Quarahy got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Queirós. When Quarahy's Alex Quadros in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itanhomy's goalie prevented a goal. In the 63rd minute of the match Quarahy got a corner. Itanhomy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cipriano Queirós ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jorge de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. If Alex Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Alex Quadros came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Quarahy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Quadros couldn't finish the play. Jorge de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guto Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Quadros in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge de Salles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorge de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Itanhomy's Jorge de Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Pires in the 79th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Alex Quadros notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Itanhomy's Jorge de Salles. Jorge de Salles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alex Quadros struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Jorge de Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quarahy. Jorge de Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guto Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cauã Vasconcelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Itanhomy's Jorge de Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Quadros in the 94th minute of play. If Fernando Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Quarahy had played much better football throughout.
