Guaramirim FC's Kiko Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fábio Madureira in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th match minute, Guararu SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses das Neves to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Lima in the 7th minute of play forced Guaramirim FC's goalkeeper Kiko Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ulisses das Neves fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guararu SS's protests and gave Ulisses das Neves a yellow card for diving instead. Ulisses das Neves hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Alex Garcia made a precise shot to the right of Dorian Coutinho. Guararu SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When Alex Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Guaramirim FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Garcia couldn't finish the play. Alex Garcia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dorian Coutinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Luís Fábio Madureira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guararu SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Fábio Madureira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adhemar Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Coutinho having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Guararu SS's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Garcia came free, but Dorian Coutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Fábio Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dorian Coutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Garcia to strike the kick off in the second half. Rui Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Henrique Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko Paraense having to interfere. Guaramirim FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Luís Fábio Madureira scored to the left of an out of position Kiko Paraense, making the score, 1-1. Kiko Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fábio Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kiko Paraense was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luís Fábio Madureira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 73 minute of play. Kiko Paraense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique Lima in the 76th minute. 83 minutes into the game, Alex Garcia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Dorian Coutinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dorian Coutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Garcia in the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Guararu SS's Luís Fábio Madureira got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Guararu SS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
