In the 16thth minute of the game Anselmo Félix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guaramirim FC's Kiko Paraense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rui Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Faustão Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Kiko Paraense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anselmo Félix was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 26 minutes into the match, Lapa's Faustão Castro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kiko Paraense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 28 minutes into the game, Adhemar Baptista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Percy Furtado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kiko Paraense made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Faustão Castro sent off a good shot on target. Wágner do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to Guaramirim FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Rui Severo hit a great ball. After having played for 50 minutes, Alex Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guaramirim FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo Félix made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Guaramirim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Félix came free, but Kiko Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kiko Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Félix in the 65th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Guaramirim FC's Rui Severo got a free kick in the 66th minute. Anselmo Félix succeeded in the game's 67th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. If Faustão Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 minutes of play, Lapa's Wilton Arce made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kiko Paraense was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Anselmo Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kiko Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Félix in the 90th minute of the match. Percy Furtado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Adhemar Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Percy Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Guaramirim FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lapa.
