Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gildo Quirino took the kick off in the first half of the match. Charles de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gildo Quirino in the 3rd minute of the match. A collision led to Celebrande getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Luiz Paulo Pernambucano hit a great ball. Alex Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmo Almeida in the 10th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Inácio Leite kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Charles de Azevedo. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. The Celebrande fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Celebrande's Flávio Teles looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alex Moreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flávio Teles's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Sarmento in the 21st minute of play forced Celebrande's goalkeeper Charles de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Inácio Leite recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Charles de Azevedo. Inácio Leite showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After 27 played minutes Itajoby SS got a freekick which was hit by Léo Dias. Dalmo Almeida struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Alex Moreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Celebrande. After 31 minutes of play, Celebrande's Flávio Teles made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex Moreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alex Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flávio Teles in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Moreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Dalmo Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Joaquim Brito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Celebrande fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Flávio Teles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Alex Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th match minute, Itajoby SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Matorin to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Sidnei Corrêa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Itajoby SS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Flávio Teles scored to the left of an out of position Alex Moreira, making the score, 2-4. After 78 played minutes, Itajoby SS's Fausto Hames shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Charles de Azevedo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Itajoby SS reached it. Dalmo Almeida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Alex Moreira made a huge save. Ernesto Sarmento hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flávio Teles in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alex Moreira saved Itajoby SS from getting behind. Celebrande were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Itajoby SS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dalmo Almeida took the corner. After taking down the ball on Celebrande's corner Luiz Paulo Pernambucano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alex Moreira quite easily take care of the ball. Flávio Teles was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Alex Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Alex Moreira was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Joaquim Brito capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joaquim Brito really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. The Itajoby SS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Celebrande were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
