Horácio Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Agiota SS booed when Orion SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Léo Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Horácio Cunha sped through Orion SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gustavo Carneiro. If Horácio Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Vânderson Pinheiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute, Tales Abreu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Orion SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Egídio Pinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but João Vítor Alagoano made a huge save. 19 minutes into the game, Didi Salgado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Orion SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Agiota SS the free kick. Didi Salgado hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Pedro Paulo Faustino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gustavo Carneiro. Orion SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. João Vítor Alagoano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egídio Pinho in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tales Abreu in the 24th minute of play forced Agiota SS's goalkeeper João Vítor Alagoano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agiota SS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Egídio Pinho scored to the left of an out of position João Vítor Alagoano, making the score, 2-1. In the 28th minute, Gil das Neves reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of João Vítor Alagoano. The goal made the score 3-1. When Horácio Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Agiota SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horácio Cunha couldn't finish the play. Horácio Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Carneiro having to interfere. Tales Abreu scored 4-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Vítor Alagoano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute Tales Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vítor Alagoano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Agiota SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Paulo Faustino to maneuver through the defense. João Vítor Alagoano acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 47th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Léo Leme. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horácio Cunha to make the kick off. Gustavo Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The supporters of Agiota SS booed when Orion SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enéas Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Tales Abreu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Vítor Alagoano. Agiota SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tales Abreu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. In the 61st minute, Léo Leme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Gustavo Carneiro managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Agiota SS's Horácio Cunha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Vânderson Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Tales Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vítor Alagoano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Vítor Alagoano came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Orion SC's Gil das Neves. But to his dismay, Gil das Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. In the 75thth minute of the game Horácio Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Orion SC's Gustavo Carneiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Gil das Neves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Vítor Alagoano. Agiota SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gil das Neves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horácio Cunha in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Carneiro saved Orion SC from getting behind. Horácio Cunha struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Gustavo Carneiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Agiota SS. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horácio Cunha in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Carneiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vânderson Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Gustavo Carneiro managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Agiota SS's Horácio Cunha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Horácio Cunhas short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Gustavo Carneiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gustavo Carneiro came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Agiota SS's Horácio Cunha. But to his dismay, Horácio Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-3. In the 93rd minute, Egídio Pinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Vítor Alagoano was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-3.
