Zacarias Valladares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Barrera AD defense, Abelardo Santana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oséias Carvalho. The Barrera AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oséias Carvalho should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Barrera AD's Zacarias Valladares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodriguinho Cerezo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Valladares in the 23rd minute of play forced time batatinha's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredinho Branco struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Oséias Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for time batatinha. 29 minutes into the match, Zacarias Valladares notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of time batatinha's Rodriguinho Cerezo. Rodriguinho Cerezo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Abelardo Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Percy Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Abelardo Santana got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. time batatinha's Rodriguinho Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luís Saldanha in the 44th minute of play. Rodriguinho Cerezo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Pedro Luís Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredinho Branco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zacarias Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho Cerezo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Barrera AD's zone, Abelardo Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oséias Carvalho came out of the goal and Abelardo Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th match minute, time batatinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredinho Branco to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Barrera AD's Pedro Luís Saldanha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodriguinho Cerezo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Luís Saldanha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Rodriguinho Cerezo made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Pedro Luís Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrera AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Luís Saldanha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodriguinho Cerezo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The time batatinha fans cheered their team off the field, for while Barrera AD had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
