The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Fausto Queiroz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duda Araújo was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Paraíba in the 8th minute of play forced Fechados SS's goalkeeper Duda Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duda Araújo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Alexandre Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Porto having to interfere. Ricardo Tinoco might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandre Porto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardo Tinoco ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37th minute, Costela FC's Duarte Toscano seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Duarte Toscano the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Costela FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Duarte Toscano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Costela FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! After taking down the ball on Fechados SS's corner Tiago Gabriel Ramos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alexandre Porto quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardo Tinoco in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandre Porto saved Costela FC from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Paraíba to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Ricardo Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Paraíba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duda Araújo having to interfere. Ricardo Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Alexandre Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Júlio Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Paraíba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duda Araújo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Júlio Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Fechados SS's goalkeeper Duda Araújo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto Paraíba. Fausto Bezerra hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Costela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Tinoco came free, but Alexandre Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. With a little luck, Fechados SS's Duda Araújo got control of the ball when Humberto Paraíba tried to sneak it across the goal line. Doriva Zilles hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Costela FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Fechados SS from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
