Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Erasmo Mello took the kick off in the first half of the match. Erasmo Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Júlio de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasmo Mello took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Júlio de Toledo. Júlio de Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 15 played minutes Alexandrina got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício Vasconcelos. After a rather tough play, Aquidaban's Joaquim Ferreira got a free kick in the 17th minute. Erasmo Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sidnei Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Júlio de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Almir Matos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aquidaban's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alexandrina the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Aquidaban:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alexandrina:s goal. After a rather tough play, Aquidaban's Aníbal Faria got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Erasmo Mello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. César Zonta struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Júlio de Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alexandrina. César Zonta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio de Toledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. If Alex Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandrina's Nelson Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chicão Mota in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Erasmo Mello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Júlio de Toledo. Aquidaban's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erasmo Mello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chicão Mota stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Ferreira in the 58th minute of play forced Alexandrina's goalkeeper Nelson Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 minutes of play, Alexandrina's Erasmo Mello made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Júlio de Toledo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chicão Mota hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 67th match minute, Alexandrina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrício Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. Alexandrina's Nelson Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chicão Mota in the 70th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Erasmo Mello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alexandrina's supporters rose to their feet, but Erasmo Mello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio de Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alex Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erasmo Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio de Toledo having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Erasmo Mello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexandrina's Nelson Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Mendonça in the 93rd minute of play. Alexandrina played a much better game than Aquidaban and deserved their victory. The Aquidaban players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
