Alexandrina's Nelson Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Lara in the 16th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Alexandrina's Erasmo Mello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Víktor Romero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Víktor Romero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erasmo Mello in the 23rd minute. Erasmo Mello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Víktor Romero having to make a save. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Dorival Leite got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Erasmo Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nelson Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato de Sousa in the 42nd minute of the match. Alexandrina's Nelson Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Lara in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Alexandrina's goal looked a bit too open when Donato de Sousa came free, but Nelson Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donato de Sousa to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celso Lara got free with Nelson Brito in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nelson Brito made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Celso Lara sent off a good shot on target. 82 minutes into the game, Donato de Sousa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dobrado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alexandrina the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Leite in the 84th minute of play forced Dobrado's goalkeeper Víktor Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Dobrado's Joaquim Alvarenga got a free kick in the 85th minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Fabrício Vasconcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alexandrina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrício Vasconcelos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute of the match, Celso Lara got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nelson Brito was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Celso Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Nelson Brito made a huge save. When the final whistle went the supporters of Dobrado were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Alexandrina side.
