Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Marcinho Gonçalves started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Willian Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Joinville EC's Cássio Peres got a free kick in the 6th minute. Dorival Neiva hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Marcinho Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Sílvio Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romário Cardozo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute Marcinho Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Marcinho Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gracismoes SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcinho Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sílvio Pires breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcinho Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Sílvio Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcinho Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Pires having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Joinville EC got a freekick which was hit by Dieguinho Jacinto. Zé Paulo Cosme scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sílvio Pires, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Vítor Meirelles got free with Ulysses Soeiro in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ulysses Soeiro made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when João Vítor Meirelles sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Gracismoes SS getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Humberto Simões hit a great ball. Marcinho Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Sílvio Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gracismoes SS. If Marcinho Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcinho Gonçalves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sílvio Pires read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of Gracismoes SS booed when Joinville EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romário Cardozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcinho Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcinho Gonçalves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sílvio Pires read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Zé Paulo Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Sílvio Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Joinville EC's zone, Zé Paulo Cosme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Pires came out of the goal and Zé Paulo Cosme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Reynaldo Soares struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Sílvio Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gracismoes SS. Sílvio Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcinho Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Gracismoes SS's Marcinho Gonçalves in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Joinville EC's goalie prevented a goal. Sílvio Pires was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcinho Gonçalves showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 63 minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Luiz Fabiano Alves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulysses Soeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Marcinho Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Sílvio Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sílvio Pires made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Zé Paulo Cosme sent off a good shot on target. If Marcinho Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gracismoes SS's Marcinho Gonçalves in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Joinville EC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 92nd match minute, Joinville EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Neiva to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Gracismoes SS's Dorival Neiva broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Gracismoes SS played a much better game than Joinville EC and deserved their victory. The Joinville EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
