Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Giovanni Azevedo kicked off to start the match. 10 minutes into the game, Giovanni Azevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alexsandro Quadros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gonçalo Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Alexsandro Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 21 minutes, Gonçalo Massa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ermo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonçalo Massa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carios EC's Ediberto Massa got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Diego Mendonça fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ermo's protests and gave Diego Mendonça a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ermo's Diego Mendonça got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Laércio Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laércio Albuquerque in the 38th minute of play forced Ermo's goalkeeper Gilberto Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Sá made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Ediberto Massa sent off a good shot on target. Leandro Donato walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Luís Fábio Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After having played for 45 minutes, Ediberto Massa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carios EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ediberto Massa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laércio Albuquerque made a kick off. Ermo's Gilberto Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio Albuquerque in the 52nd minute of play. Giovanni Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexsandro Quadros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Laércio Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Gilberto Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ediberto Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Giovanni Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexsandro Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Massa in the 67th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Laércio Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carios EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Laércio Albuquerque was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Sá breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexsandro Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovanni Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Arantes hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giovanni Azevedo in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexsandro Quadros saved Carios EC from getting behind. After 79 played minutes Ermo got a freekick which was hit by Diego Mendonça. 88 minutes into the match, Ediberto Massa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilberto Sá. Ermo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ediberto Massa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Laércio Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Mendonça hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Leandro Donato sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ermo's Gilberto Sá didn't even have to move. The Ermo players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Carios EC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
