Zé Pedro da Mata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Dinei Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 8 played minutes Humberto Quaresma rounded Planaltina's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Humberto Quaresma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nelson Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Dinei Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Quaresma, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Planaltina's Otávio da Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Planaltina's Dinei Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Pedro da Mata in the 25th minute of play. When Sumauna FC's Humberto Quaresma in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Planaltina's goalie prevented a goal. Dinei Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Quaresma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Quaresma struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Dinei Camargo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sumauna FC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remo Maranhense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Planaltina's Otávio da Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zé Pedro da Mata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinei Camargo having to interfere. In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Sumauna FC. Laércio Pereira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dinei Camargo. 3-1. Dinei Camargo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Quaresma in the 81st minute of the match. Dinei Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbson Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Pedro da Mata in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dinei Camargo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 88 minutes into the match, Sumauna FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Linares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Otávio da Costa. If Zé Pedro da Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sumauna FC had played much better football throughout.
