Alexsandro Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emerson Saldanha in the 9th minute of the match. Emerson Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Dantas having to interfere. Alexsandro Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Emerson Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barandao's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gildo Vidal was slow to take the kick. During this time Carcamano FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Carcamano FC's corner Gildo Vidal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alexsandro Dantas quite easily take care of the ball. After 23 minutes, Edgar Goiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barandao and the Carcamano FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Barandao getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Edgar Goiano hit a great ball. Alexsandro Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexsandro Salgado in the 24th minute of play. Emerson Saldanha struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Alexsandro Dantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carcamano FC. Barandao's Dudu Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Carcamano FC's goalkeeper Tiago Diniz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dudu Vieira. Edgar Goiano hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Emerson Saldanha might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexsandro Dantas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emerson Saldanha ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Barandao's zone, Alexsandro Salgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexsandro Dantas came out of the goal and Alexsandro Salgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The supporters of Barandao booed when Carcamano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 53 played minutes Carcamano FC got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Vides. After having played for 55 minutes, Amadeu das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barandao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeu das Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emerson Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Alexsandro Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexsandro Salgado was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 64th minute. Carcamano FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Tiago Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcinho Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 played minutes Carcamano FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Almeida. Emerson Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Carcamano FC's Alexsandro Salgado got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Tiago Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 93 minutes in the game, Alexsandro Salgado fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alexsandro Dantas having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Barandao could leave the field as winners, despite Carcamano FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
