Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Josué de Medeiros kicked off to start the match. Delfim Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josué de Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Francisco Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Alves having to interfere. Mimozo SC's Eliézer de Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Mimozo SC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Víktor Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itapoan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Víktor Neiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliézer de Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, Víktor Neiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Itapoan FC's Cláudio Matorin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eliézer de Lima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Josué de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Itapoan FC's Afonso Pirani got a free kick in the 27th minute. Luisinho Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliézer de Lima having to interfere. Víktor Neiva was extremely unlucky when he, in the 34th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 36th match minute, Mimozo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aílton Koehler to maneuver through the defense. When Víktor Neiva came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Itapoan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Víktor Neiva couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luisinho Queirós to strike the kick off in the second half. Cláudio Matorin hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute Josué de Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th match minute, Itapoan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Pirani to maneuver through the defense. Víktor Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Eliézer de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Víktor Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luisinho Queirós struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Eliézer de Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itapoan FC. After a defensive mix-up in Mimozo SC's zone, Luisinho Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliézer de Lima came out of the goal and Luisinho Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute, Víktor Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Itapoan FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
