Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adalberto Pombal took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Adalberto Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jococa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adalberto Pombal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerson Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Eliézer de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliézer de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Pombal in the 13th minute of the match. Luís Fábio Duarte hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Jococa's César Miranda couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mimozo SC. Eliézer de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Pombal in the 22nd minute of the match. A collision led to Jococa getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Giovanni Urbano hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Mimozo SC's Falcão Pereira broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Marcinho da Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josué de Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When João Francisco Mineiro came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Mimozo SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Francisco Mineiro couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute, Giovanni Urbano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jococa's Marcinho da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Francisco Mineiro in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Mimozo SC booed when Jococa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doni Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Josué de Medeiros was the one to do the kick off. Jococa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Josué de Medeiros scored to the left of an out of position Marcinho da Silva, making the score, 0-1. When Gerson Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Jococa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerson Abraão couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the match, Mimozo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerson Abraão came free, but Eliézer de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Baltazar das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerson Abraão in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliézer de Lima saved Mimozo SC from getting behind. After 96 played minutes Jococa got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Tepedino. The audience held their breath when Falcão Pereira in the 98th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Marcinho da Silva's left hand side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mimozo SC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
