The supporters of Bode booed when Picoto SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felippe Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Régis Meireless short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Paulinho Gomes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fábio da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Paulinho Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Rafa de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osmar Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Maciel in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Fábio da Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Osmar Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Maciel in the 39th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Picoto SC's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio da Cunha came free, but Paulinho Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Picoto SC's goalkeeper Paulinho Gomes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Régis Meireles. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Cristian Matorin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Osmar Messias made a huge save. 89 minutes into the game, Giovanni Magalhães was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bode's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Picoto SC the free kick. After 89 played minutes Bode got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Magalhães. Osmar Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After some careless play in the Bode defense, Cristian Matorin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osmar Messias. The Bode fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osmar Messias should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Picoto SC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
