In the 13th minute Cristiano de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pluto Futebol Clube's Lino Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano de Barros in the 15th minute of play. Lino Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Real Madri Tetra Mundial's goalkeeper Délio Pernambucano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sydney Valle. Lino Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano de Barros in the 19th minute of the match. Délio Pernambucano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rogério Leão showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. The wind increased when Sydney Valle made the kick off in the second half. Chiquinho Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. In the 81st minute Amadeu de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Délio Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogério Leão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Délio Pernambucano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. If Sydney Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
