Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sangao's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Salles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jairo Cardozo's late challenge caught a Sangao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jairo Cardozo helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes Pastinha SC got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Cardozo. The Sangao supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pastinha SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Pastinha SC.
