Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Serafim Tande took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvinho Silveira got free with Eriberto Gaspar in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 6 minutes of play, New Boskian's Serafim Tande made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Belmiro Maranhense was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafim Tande in the 12th minute of play forced Gamboa's goalkeeper Belmiro Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafim Tande in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Belmiro Maranhense saved Gamboa from getting behind. When Serafim Tande came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the New Boskian fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafim Tande couldn't finish the play. Belmiro Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafim Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Nuno Quaresma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Serafim Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belmiro Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Quaresma struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Belmiro Maranhense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Boskian. Cícero Urbano hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The supporters of New Boskian booed when Gamboa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cícero Urbano didn't get a good kick on the ball. New Boskian's Serafim Tande got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuno Quaresma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Gamboa's zone, Luís Eduardo Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Belmiro Maranhense came out of the goal and Luís Eduardo Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basílio Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basílio Andrade made a kick off. Luís Eduardo Vale hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Silvinho Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Eriberto Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gamboa's Belmiro Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Tande in the 61st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gamboa's Laerte Luz got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Serafim Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Belmiro Maranhense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serafim Tande in the 68th minute. Serafim Tande in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Belmiro Maranhense, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Belmiro Maranhense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Boskian. In the 85th minute, Serafim Tande ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Belmiro Maranhense was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as New Boskian's Luís Eduardo Vale slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Belmiro Maranhense. That made the score 0-3 after 89 minutes of play. In the 93rd minute, Gamboa's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luís Eduardo Vale fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. New Boskian played a much better game than Gamboa and deserved their victory. The Gamboa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
