An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Corrêa in the 46th minute of play forced Enseada's goalkeeper Abel Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Enseada's goalkeeper Abel Sergipano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hermínio Lima. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After having played for 79 minutes, Hermínio Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ypióca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermínio Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Enseada's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Corrêa came free, but Abel Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Claudinei Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinei Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ypióca FC fully deserved thier win.
