Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Amílton Matos kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Umberto Paraense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jouquarinha SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pontais the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zézinho Duarte in the 9th minute of play forced Pontais's goalkeeper Caio Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jouquarinha SS:s Walmyr Albuquerque showed great skill when he stopped Danilo Valladares:s penalty. Danilo Valladares took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walmyr Albuquerque. Walmyr Albuquerque dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Amílton Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr Albuquerque having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Amílton Matos took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Walmyr Albuquerque to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Pontais booed when Jouquarinha SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murillo Rosado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kiko Guimarães kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Danilo Valladares fired a really elegant long shot, but Walmyr Albuquerque threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. In the 31st match minute, Jouquarinha SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Porto to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Pontais's Sílvio Luiz Rosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walmyr Albuquerque narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th match minute, Jouquarinha SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murillo Rosado to maneuver through the defense. When Zézinho Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Jouquarinha SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zézinho Duarte couldn't finish the play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Pontais's Amílton Matos in the 43rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Walmyr Albuquerque was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Jouquarinha SS through an amazing save. Eliseu Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Ferraz to make the kick off. Kiko Guimarães kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Walmyr Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luiz Rosa in the 56th minute of play. Sílvio Luiz Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Walmyr Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walmyr Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luiz Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Sílvio Luiz Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pontais's supporters rose to their feet, but Sílvio Luiz Rosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walmyr Albuquerque breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sílvio Luiz Rosa came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Pontais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sílvio Luiz Rosa couldn't finish the play. Sílvio Luiz Rosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Jouquarinha SS's Murillo Rosado got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Zézinho Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pontais fully deserved thier win.
