Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Erasmo Negri took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, Erasmo Negri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tony Messias was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Doni Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Doni Leão's late challenge caught a Galhao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doni Leão helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Queiros SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Galhao:s goal. Faustão Peixoto was extremely unlucky when he, in the 16th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Juvenal Cabral was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Faustão Peixoto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Faustão Peixoto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Juvenal Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustão Peixoto in the 29th minute of play. Juvenal Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustão Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Queiros SC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Doni Leão hit a great ball. Galhao's Waldemar Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Galhao's Abel de Azevedo got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 46th minute, Queiros SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edmundo de Azevedo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 52nd minute, Juninho Galvão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Queiros SC's Juvenal Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo de Azevedo in the 57th minute of play. Tony Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Negri in the 59th minute of the match. Edmundo de Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Juvenal Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Faustão Peixoto fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galhao's protests and gave Faustão Peixoto a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Galhao's Faustão Peixoto got a free kick in the 71st minute. When Galhao's Faustão Peixoto in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Queiros SC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Galhao's zone, Edgard Proença stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tony Messias came out of the goal and Edgard Proença tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Queiros SC's Márcio Schmidt got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 83 played minutes, Galhao's Juninho Galvão shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Juvenal Cabral came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Galhao reached it. 87 minutes into the match, Queiros SC's goal looked a bit too open when Faustão Peixoto came free, but Juvenal Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Queiros SC! The corner went over the outstretched arms of Galhao's goalie and right to Mané Amorim. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Galhao's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Galhao fans cheered their team off the field, for while Queiros SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
