The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Telmo Massa helped the player get up and apologised. After 3 played minutes BORUSSIA STARKS got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Massa. After 15 played minutes Palestra Italia got a freekick which was hit by Joélson Zonta. Deivid Cruz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eliézer Tavares. Palestra Italia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Palestra Italia's Eliézer Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho Santos in the 19th minute of play. Palestra Italia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Viana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Palestra Italia getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Christian Carneiro hit a great ball. Virgílio Peixoto hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Kaká Faria made a precise shot to the right of Eliézer Tavares. Palestra Italia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With his leg Célio Netto managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Palestra Italia's Christian Carneiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marcel Cabral charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcel Cabral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 37 played minutes BORUSSIA STARKS got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Cabral. 40 minutes into the game, Virgílio Peixoto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palestra Italia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BORUSSIA STARKS the free kick. After 40 played minutes Palestra Italia got a freekick which was hit by Virgílio Peixoto. Christian Carneiro charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 62 minutes, Marco Viana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palestra Italia and the BORUSSIA STARKS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eliézer Tavares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaká Faria went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 82 minutes into the match, Palestra Italia's goalkeeper Eliézer Tavares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaká Faria. Eliézer Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enio Saraiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Carlos Augusto Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Célio Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Viana in the 91st minute of the match. Eliézer Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enio Saraiva in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Basílio de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Palestra Italia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. BORUSSIA STARKS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
