Dário Cosme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafa Abraão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Luiz Paulo Andrade made a huge save. Luiz Paulo Andrade was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Váldson de Andrade capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Váldson de Andrade really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Dário Cosme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fellipe de Amaral in the 16th minute of play. Fellipe de Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 34 minutes, Fellipe de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dijeh Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fellipe de Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kaká da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dário Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Kaká da Cunha made a precise shot to the right of Dário Cosme. INTER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fellipe de Amaral in the 42nd minute of play forced INTER's goalkeeper Dário Cosme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Carlos Fernando Lopez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. INTER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dijeh Esporte Clube the free kick. Carlos Fernando Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. INTER's Dário Cosme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fellipe de Amaral in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Váldson de Andrade in the 46th minute of play forced Dijeh Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Luiz Paulo Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Kaká da Cunha made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to INTER getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Cláudio Prado hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in INTER's zone, Fellipe de Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dário Cosme came out of the goal and Fellipe de Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dário Cosme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká da Cunha in the 60th minute of the match. Kaká da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Dário Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in INTER's zone, Kaká da Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dário Cosme came out of the goal and Kaká da Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaká da Cunha in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dário Cosme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fellipe de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dário Cosme having to interfere. Kaká da Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kaká da Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th match minute, Dijeh Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaká da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Paulo Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Váldson de Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafa Abraão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Paulo Andrade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Váldson de Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luiz Paulo Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa Abraão in the 89th minute of play. A collision led to Dijeh Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Alfredão Paes hit a great ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
