Germano Moraes charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Germano Moraes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 5 minutes into the match, Mozondo EC's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Vale came free, but Sabino Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marquinhos Mazza in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sabino Paiva, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Marquinhos Mazza struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Sabino Paiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maximim EC. Duarte Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th of the match, Duarte Vale tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Sabino Paiva got in the way and made a wonderful save. Maximim EC's Joaquim Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauã Hoffmann in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Maximim EC's Marquinhos Mazza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Armindo Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Couto having to interfere. Luís Trevisan kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Marquinhos Mazza succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Armindo Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Armindo Bezerra made the kick off in the second half. Duarte Vale took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sabino Paiva. Sabino Paiva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Duarte Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Mozondo EC's Armindo Bezerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquim Couto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joaquim Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armindo Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Duarte Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabino Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Maximim EC's goalkeeper Joaquim Couto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Marquinhos Mazza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sabino Paiva. Mozondo EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marquinhos Mazza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Marquinhos Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Sabino Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th match minute, Mozondo EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulysses Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. Maximim EC's Germano Moraes got his second yellow card of the match in the 79th minute. The referee ordered Germano Moraes off the ground. Germano Moraes hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When Marquinhos Mazza came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Maximim EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marquinhos Mazza couldn't finish the play. After 90 minutes of play, Mozondo EC's Kauã Hoffmann made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquim Couto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristóvão Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Maximim EC were the better team. Maximim EC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
