Doriva de Alcântara didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 19th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Doriva de Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Kauã Hoffmann sent off a good shot on target. Sabino Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aílton Porto in the 30th minute of the match. Sabino Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurício dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Mozondo EC booed when Tapiara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléber Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Tapiara's Albertinho Mendonça got a free kick in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Mozondo EC's Régis Proença broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Albertinho Mendonça's late challenge caught a Mozondo EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albertinho Mendonça helped the player get up and apologised. Albertinho Mendonça hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Armindo Bezerra made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Tapiara's goal looked a bit too open when Armindo Bezerra came free, but Doriva de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doriva de Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armindo Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute Maurício dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabino Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armindo Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mozondo EC's zone, Aílton Porto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabino Paiva came out of the goal and Aílton Porto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Régis Proença kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Kléber Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Silas Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 83rd match minute, Mozondo EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silas Vidal to maneuver through the defense. Armindo Bezerra struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Doriva de Alcântara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mozondo EC.
