Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kaká Dantas took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cassurova's goalkeeper Rafael Figueiredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Herveira's Edgard Gaúcho got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio Alagoano in the 10th minute of play forced Cassurova's goalkeeper Rafael Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herveira's Edgard Gaúcho got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgard Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Rafael Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kaká Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Cassurova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaká Dantas couldn't finish the play. If Allan Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Allan Vianna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Túlio Simões was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. 32 minutes into the match, Kaká Dantas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Túlio Simões. Herveira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kaká Dantas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Kaká Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Túlio Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herveira's Edgard Gaúcho got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Herveira players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cassurova were winning 0-1.

In the 52nd minute, Allan Vianna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 54 in the game by Allan Vianna from a close distance when the talented Túlio Simões managed to make a qualified save. Herveira's players were relieved. Edgard Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Figueiredo having to interfere. Olívio Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafael Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olívio Alagoano in the 70th minute of the match. Edgard Gaúcho might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Figueiredo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgard Gaúcho ran back to his position shaking his head. If Olívio Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Gaúcho in the 76th minute of play. Rafael Figueiredo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olívio Alagoano went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, Cassurova's Túlio Simões threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kaká Dantas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Patrick Batista's late challenge caught a Cassurova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrick Batista helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes Herveira got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Batista. After a rather tough play, Cassurova's Kaká Dantas got a free kick in the 88th minute. Edgard Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Figueiredo having to interfere. Cassurova's Rafael Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olívio Alagoano in the 95th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
