Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Thomás Neiva made the kick off which started today's match. Betão Senna came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Thebus's Ramón Gonçalves. But to his dismay, Ramón Gonçalves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Atininga's Cléber Brito got a free kick in the 10th minute. Oséias Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that João Barbosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Betão Senna was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. When Thebus's Rubinho Albuquerque in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atininga's goalie prevented a goal. Thomás Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Kiko da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Atininga's Mathias Santos got a free kick in the 28th minute. João Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão Senna having to interfere. After some careless play in the Atininga defense, João Barbosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Betão Senna. The Atininga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Betão Senna should have stopped the shot. 45 minutes into the match, Atininga's goal looked a bit too open when Ramón Gonçalves came free, but Betão Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Atininga's zone, João Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Betão Senna came out of the goal and João Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Barbosa was the one to do the kick off. Ramón Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Atininga's Cléber Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramón Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Betão Senna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thebus. In the 58th minute, Mathias Santos sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Thebus's Kiko da Silveira didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Atininga's Américo Sá got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 68th minute, Thebus's João Barbosa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. 74 minutes into the match, Thebus's goal looked a bit too open when Thomás Neiva came free, but Kiko da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 75 minutes, Ramón Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thebus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramón Gonçalves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Thebus's Nildo Neto got a free kick in the 77th minute. Atininga's Mathias Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kiko da Silveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cléber Brito went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. In the 93rd minute Thomás Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiko da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thebus played a much better game than Atininga and deserved their victory. The Atininga players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
