Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Crato SS's Renan de Queirós started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Renan de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Cardozo having to interfere. 4 minutes into the game, Márcio Teles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chuna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crato SS the free kick. The supporters of Crato SS booed when Chuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Márcio Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chuna's zone, Renan de Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moisés Cardozo came out of the goal and Renan de Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute, Raí Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Renan de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Moisés Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir Rossi in the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Waldir Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Chuna's goal looked a bit too open when Renan de Queirós came free, but Moisés Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Víktor Veiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Waldir Rossi in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moisés Cardozo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes into the match, Crato SS's goalkeeper Juvenal Soeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gláuber Cruz. In the 27th match minute, Crato SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Abreu to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Diguinho Moreno notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Crato SS's Juvenal Soeiro. Juvenal Soeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Diguinho Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Soeiro having to interfere. If Waldir Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renan de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Waldir Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Moisés Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gláuber Cruz made a kick off. Moisés Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan de Queirós in the 51st minute of the match. Waldir Rossi took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moisés Cardozo. Moisés Cardozo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 75thth minute of the game Gláuber Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crato SS's Juvenal Soeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 78 played minutes, Chuna's Ernesto Mello shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Juvenal Soeiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chuna reached it. In the 87thth minute of the game Gláuber Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crato SS's Juvenal Soeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Chuna's Moisés Cardozo got control of the ball when Waldir Rossi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th minute, Diguinho Moreno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
